Alright, today’s episode of The Herle Burly is a 2 parter!
Part 1 of the pod today is Ian Brodie. An academic by training, today Mr. Brodie is as Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Calgary. But as many of you know, he was central to the founding of the Conservative Party of Canada, and its Executive Director. When Prime Minister Harper was elected in 2006, he became his first Chief of Staff. We’re going to talk about what he imagined the Conservative Party to be, what it is today, and how it can win again.
Part 2 of the pod is what “Part 2 of the pod” always is – our weekly cussin’, fightin’ and laughin’ session – better known as the Political Panel with Jenni Byrne & Scott Reid. This week we’re going to dive into:
The looming Conservative Party Policy Convention and the equally looming pressure Erin O’Toole is facing as leader.
Apparently, there’s not going to be a federal budget—remember those things—until mid-April at the earliest, so we’ll chat about framing for an upcoming election.
Plus ... #HEYYOU!
